Hello Everyone!
Next weeks meeting is going to be about Body Modification in regards to 'Otherkin' Subculture and Plastic Surgery, again at the Concordia Greenhouse from 5 to 6pm. We are super excited to introduce this subject, and have selected an excerpt from a documentary, and a website for you to browse though on the topic.If you are unfamiliar with 'Otherkin' subculture, Wikipedia gives a fantastic and brief overview of what it means to be an Otherkin.
- The Documentary is called "Animal Imitators", and is taken from YouTube. For our discussion, you only need to watch from 0:00 - 11:00 of the documentary. Feel free to watch the whole thing if you feel inclined to do so - it is very interesting!
- The website is made by a woman you may have seen in the media as the 'Human Barbie'. In particular, we encourage you to look at the 'About' section of her website.
