Tea Talk #3: SCIENCE AND SOUL

Image from Wikipedia.org

Thank you everyone for coming out to today's Tea Talk!

We enjoyed two teas this evening: Smoked Sencha Green Tea, and Rosemary Mint Herbal Tea.  We also enjoyed a variety of muffins!

Many of us were in awe of the Radio Lab Podcast.  We thought that pseudoscience was an intriguing topic, and blurred many of the lines between what we believe to be real, and what science tells us is real.

Hello Everyone!

We are proud to announce Keencordia's first formal event!
On November 2nd, we invite Keencordia members and the public to join us for a Night at the Redpath Museum!  Join us for drinks and friendly chatter at Kafein at 8pm, and then head over to the museum for tour by flashlight.

The Redpath Museum is one of the oldest museums in Canada, and is home to many different specimens and artefacts (even dinosaurs!).
We are super excited to see you all there!
As always, make sure you RSVP on the Facebook event page.

Bring your Brains!
Sincerely,
Lucy and Christine

Hello everyone!
For this podcast, we recommend keeping a pen and paper handy (or laptop or pencil or tablet or papyrus or phone etc.). Your ideas will come in massive waves and we would like you to bring all of them with you to our next meeting.

 Hello Everyone!

Our originally scheduled meeting falls on October 14th, which is also Canadian Thanksgiving.  Since the University is closed, we will be hosting an informal dinner event at 7:30pm.  This event does not count as a member responsibility, although we do have some juicy conversation to divulge into over a tasty dinner!

Tea Talk #2: Body Modification

Thanks to all who came to this weeks meeting! This week our tea was Mango Indica. It was exciting to get started with a topic that was less familiar to most of us and to see where the discussion led. Here are some of the main points we touched on.
